AnonymousLanterns usually come with the string, but if not you can find many different kinds at any craft store, it all depends on your personal preference. If you do not want the string to be seen, try fishing like and a few pieces of scotch tape to hold it up, but try to get a very clear version of scotch tape and press it down really hard so it is unnoticable because if not it could start to look cheesy
